About Us Come join the Minds Mechanical team and support a variety of exciting projects across multiple disciplines and service departments. Minds Mechanical is a manufacturing, assembly, metrology, and software development company providing bespoke end-to-end production and quality solutions for clients in aerospace, marine, automotive, military, clean energy, and advanced architecture industries. Position Overview The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and components in support of manufacturing operations. This role ensures all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and company standards. The Electrician will work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and diagnostic tools Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and repairs completed Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and uptime Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience preferred Valid electrician license or certification (state/local as applicable) preferred Minimum X+ years of experience in industrial, commercial, or manufacturing electrical work Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting methods Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment and tools Experience working with 120V-480V systems (or specify your environment) Familiarity with PLC systems and motor controls is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments (standing, climbing, confined spaces, etc.) Willingness to work overtime or flexible shifts as needed
