Starting at $67,000/year, depending on experience

Benefits:

Health insurance, 401(k), company car West Ridge Energy is looking for an 07a electrician (lighting maintenance) or 01 journeyman electrician with experience with large commercial energy efficiency projects. Ideal candidate will be able to make sure that all aspects of onsite work is executed efficiently and correctly. Job will be very variable based on projects for the company. You might be asked to assist with installing fixtures, prepping them, picking up extra parts, recycling, commissioning programming on the fixtures, and buttoning up every aspect of a commercial lighting project. We're a flexible company: if you're flexible with us and get the work done, we'll work with you on achieving an ideal schedule.

This is a dynamic role:

day-to-day and week-to-week work will shift depending on the projects we're installing, so we're looking for someone who's comfortable adapting as the job changes. Responsibilities Communicate installation needs and scope clearly to electricians on-site Commission LED lighting fixtures and verify proper operation Unbox, inspect, and prep fixtures ahead of installation Install retrofit lighting fixtures Oversee daily job site activity and keep work on schedule Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout the project Travel between multiple job sites as assigned Qualifications 07A or 01 electrical license required Prior experience as a foreman, lead installer, or similar leadership role on electrical or lighting projects Working knowledge of LED lighting systems and energy efficiency retrofit installations Comfortable working at heights and lifting/moving fixtures and equipment Valid driver's license (company vehicle provided for multi-site travel) Strong communication skills — able to direct a crew and coordinate with electricians
