Building Waters is seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll perform residential and light commercial electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and service work while delivering an outstanding customer experience on every job. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial properties. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications. Install wiring, electrical panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and other electrical components. Diagnose electrical problems and recommend effective solutions. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes. Work safely while maintaining a clean and organized job site. Communicate professionally with customers, explaining repairs and recommendations. Complete work orders and documentation accurately. Assist in training and mentoring apprentice electricians. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Qualifications Current Journeyman Electrician License (required) Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems (light commercial experience is a plus) Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments If you're a licensed Journeyman Electrician who takes pride in quality work and wants to grow with a company that invests in its employees, we'd love to hear from you.
