Job Description
Position Summary:
Layout, assemble and wire electrical control panels. Assist with machine hard wiring, quality check-out, and troubleshooting. Field/service work for equipment in the field. Machine mechanical assembly assistance when needed.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer facilities to provide electrical and/or mechanical repairs/troubleshooting and start-ups for Alliance machines. Travel up to 25% required for this position.
- Layout, assemble and wire electrical control panels.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical related equipment problems.
- Wire equipment; bend conduit and wire to devices.
- Perform electrical/mechanical machine check-out prior to shipment.
- Troubleshoot and service electrical/mechanical machine problems during manufacturing process.
Other Duties When Requested:
- Machine assembly.
- Assist service department with technical and service parts support.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent electrical/mechanical aptitude.
- Good understanding of electrical schematics/programs/components.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks accurately within acceptable timeframes.
- Ability to solve problems and ease customer concerns.
