The ideal candidate will have experience in residential wiring. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Responsibilities •Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Perform troubleshooting on electrical equipment using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Conduct renovations involving electrical work while adhering to safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Requirements • Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices related to electrical work. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Construction site experience is essential; maintenance person experience is a plus.
