Learn multiple trades. Go home proud of what you did. Tired of doing the exact same thing every day? At Bay Custom , our crews transform homes. One week you might be installing permanent exterior lighting on a beautiful home. The next you're building out a garage with custom cabinets. Another day you're troubleshooting an existing system and solving a problem for a customer. We're looking for an Install Technician (Lead in Training) who likes working with their hands, figuring things out, and seeing the results of their work at the end of the day. You don't need to already know our products. We'll teach you. But you do need to know your way around tools, be willing to learn, work hard, and take pride in doing things the right way.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

You'll be trained across Bay Custom's home upgrade solutions including: Permanent exterior lighting (the first and most experienced in the area!) Landscape lighting Custom garage cabinets and storage systems Concrete coatings and modular floor tiles Troubleshooting, service and repair Our goal is to develop you into a Lead Installer who can run your own crew. We'll teach you the products, systems, and skills - you bring the work ethic and willingness to learn.

THIS PROBABLY ISN'T FOR YOU

IF... You regularly show up late. You call in sick often. You need to be reminded to work. You leave messes for somebody else. You abuse tools and equipment. You disappear when there's something difficult to do. Or you're looking for a place where doing the bare minimum is good enough. That's just not how we operate.

THE BASICS

You'll need a valid driver's license and a good driving record. You must be comfortable working outdoors, climbing ladders and occasionally working at heights. You should be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. Previous experience with hand and power tools is required. Construction or installation experience is helpful, but attitude, mechanical ability and willingness to learn matter more to us than having the perfect résumé.
