6:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Monday through Thursday (

Position Summary:
Journeyman Electrician This position is responsible for electrical installations, advanced troubleshooting, and maintenance within commercial, light industrial, and residential settings. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work independently, maintain strict compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), and may supervise or mentor small crews (2-4 electricians) depending on project needs.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities Installation & Technical Work:
Proficiently install, maintain, and troubleshoot basic to complex electrical systems, conduit systems, various lighting setups, basic control systems, motor feeders, and standard motor connections.
Project Execution:
Effectively analyze blueprints and utilize that data on jobsites. Layout conduit, lighting, and control systems, and manage/organize materials efficiently.
Leadership & Teamwork:
Act as a member of a cohesive team. Lead small crews effectively, provide technical assistance, and coach/mentor fellow field employees.
Planning & Efficiency:
Analyze upcoming tasks to anticipate equipment, procedures, and training needs. Consistently complete projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Safety & Workplace Standards:
Enforce a safe jobsite and maintain strict compliance with OSHA, company safety rules, and customer-specific standards. Clean and maintain jobsites, tools, and company vehicles. Immediately identify, correct, and report any unsafe conditions.
Customer Relations:
Demonstrate excellent customer service through effective communication and strong problem-solving techniques.
Qualifications & Core Competencies License/Certification:
Valid Wisconsin Journeyman Certification and a clean, valid driver's license are required.
Attributes:
Strong accountability, accuracy, detail-oriented, goal-oriented, and high integrity.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, distinguish colors (color vision), work at elevated heights, and comfortably wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
