Full-time Position Summary:
Provide panel building, conduit and wiring of skidded systems, field service, and general project support for process control equipment and systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Utilizes project electrical schematics to build control panels, install conduit for electrical control systems, and pull wire for electrical control systems with the appropriate level of detail by applying knowledge of electricity, materials, control equipment, and national\international electrical design standards (NEC, UL, and IEEE). Maintains company reputation and excellent product quality by utilizing established components, designs, and procedures while complying with federal, state, and local regulations. Travels to customer facilities to support electrical installation function and to provide electrical field service support. Supports general project management function by maintaining control over scope and schedule to meet or exceed project deadlines and budgets. Interfaces with customers, as needed, throughout the course of every project. Contributes to Automation Team effort by assisting others with their projects and completing non-project related tasks as assigned by the Automation Team Manager. Supports Continuous Improvement efforts in the Panel Shop and Skid Wiring facilities. Performs other duties as assigned by the Panel Shop Lead or Automation Team Manager.
Education & Experience:
Work experience relative to the Panel Builder \ Skid Wirer position is required. The individual must have a degree of understanding with PCs and the ability to use Microsoft Office or Excel applications is preferred. This is a service-orientated position. The successful candidate must genuinely enjoy working with people, have a pleasant disposition, and be willing to advance the goals of the organization by demonstrating competence in relevant subject areas and a willingness to be helpful
