Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an Electrician to join our team! The Electrician installs, tests and repairs electrical components and power distribution circuits.

HOURS:

Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day/PM Rotation, occasional weekend. Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of electrical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Courses in blueprint reading, mathematics, communication, safety, schematic reading, physics and knowledge of electrical systems. An Associate/Technical School Degree in Industrial Electronics beneficial. State approved electrician apprenticeship or equivalent. Five years' experience as an electrician with a background in industrial and commercial construction and maintenance necessary. Wisconsin Electrician license preferred. Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver's License required. Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position. Employee Benefits Full benefits packages available for part- and full-time status. Aspirus Wausau Hospital is a Level II trauma center that provides primary, secondary and tertiary care services as a regional referral center. Specialty referral service emphasis exists in cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedics and cancer. The hospital has an average daily inpatient census of 220 with approximately 15,000 admissions per year. Outpatient visits exceed 50,000 and there are also more than 24,000 annual emergency department visits.
