The role Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you'll perform both maintenance and production electrical work across our industrial equipment lines. You'll wire clean, reliable panels; bend EMT/RMC with precision; and troubleshoot new and legacy systems in-house and in the field. Travel across the U.S. is approximately 25% (in-state, out-of-state, and overnights), and a travel premium is added for all road time. What you'll do Own safety for yourself and those around you on every task. Model and reinforce BCT's culture and core values. Lay out and install wiring and circuits in accordance with applicable electrical codes. Use hand and power tools properly and safely. Interpret electrical schematics to wire machines and control panels. Partner closely with Assembly and Engineering to meet build timelines. Communicate clearly with teammates and customers. Move, push, pull, or lift moderately heavy items as needed. Work at heights using ladders, scissor lifts, and articulating lifts. Bend conduit accurately (EMT, RMC; IMC experience is a plus). Build high-quality panels with a keen eye for detail. Troubleshoot electrical issues on new and used equipment in-house and on-site. Read and apply electrical machine drawings and schematics. Juggle multiple priorities while staying organized and detail-focused. What you bring Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Proficiency with common hand and power tools. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record within the last 3-5 years. Comfort with overnight and out-of-state travel (about 25%). Solid wiring and conduit know-how, plus strong troubleshooting capability. Ability to read electrical machine drawings and schematics. Willingness to work in customer facilities that may be dirty and hot/cold during installs and wiring. Basic computer skills. Education & experience Journeyman or Master Electrician license; or Five to seven years of related experience; or Ten to twelve years of progressively responsible related experience; or A combination of education and experience. Experience with PLCs, control systems, and root-cause analysis is preferred, not required.
