Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various facilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly while providing exceptional service to clients and internal teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your electrical knowledge in diverse environments, from manufacturing plants to residential settings. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot issues related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automation components. Perform welding tasks as needed for electrical conduit supports or structural modifications. Conduct facilities maintenance including electrical upgrades, repairs, and preventative inspections. Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate installations. Supervise junior team members or apprentices during projects, providing guidance on safety protocols and technical procedures. Maintain detailed records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies. Support customer service efforts by communicating effectively with clients about project status and technical issues. Assist in residential painting or minor aesthetic updates as part of facility improvements when necessary. Experience Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Demonstrated knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical codes. Hands-on experience with welding techniques relevant to electrical infrastructure projects. Mechanical knowledge applicable to facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments. Supervising or leadership experience in managing teams or projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English. Experience working in manufacturing settings or facilities maintenance roles is preferred. Pay:
$15.00 - $36.12 per hour
