Job Description
GMS is a North American based Mining & Tunneling Contractor headquartered in Oakland, Maryland with a focus in underground mine support services. GMS works for both public and private entities across the mining and heavy-civil construction industries. We pride ourselves in managing clean, organized, and professional projects from start to finish with an emphasis on successful client relationships. Much of our work is for repeat clients, including mining companies, large general contractors, engineering companies and the federal government. We utilize proven project management fundamentals on each of our projects. We are currently hiring a Surface Mine Electrician at a surface mine in Hazleton, PA. The successful candidate will work a 7 on 7 off schedule, working Tuesday - Monday 12-hour shifts. We are considering candidates from all parts of the US, that are willing & available to travel to this area on a regular basis. The successful candidate will receive a daily per diem, monthly travel allowance, and monthly tooling allowance.
