Job Description

GMS is a North American based Mining & Tunneling Contractor headquartered in Oakland, Maryland with a focus in underground mine support services. GMS works for both public and private entities across the mining and heavy-civil construction industries. We pride ourselves in managing clean, organized, and professional projects from start to finish with an emphasis on successful client relationships. Much of our work is for repeat clients, including mining companies, large general contractors, engineering companies and the federal government. We utilize proven project management fundamentals on each of our projects. We are currently hiring 3-4 Underground Mine Electricians interested in traveling throughout the Eastern United States. Successful candidates will be required to travel most of the year (per diem offered). This position will be located in New York at an underground salt mine. To gain consideration, candidates must be willing to work in / travel to the area. They must also possess extensive working knowledge & experience of underground mining and electrical (in hard rock or soft rock). $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
