In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely according to NFPA 70 standards and local electrical codes. Diagnose electrical issues within complex systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage controls, and industrial electrical systems. Ensure all work complies with electrical safety procedures, NEC (National Electrical Code), and NFPA 70 regulations. Conduct routine maintenance on existing electrical infrastructure during renovation or construction projects. Utilize schematics and blueprint reading skills to plan installations or repairs efficiently on construction sites or existing facilities. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman services to complete projects on time. Experience Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and construction site experience. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and multimeters. Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, low voltage systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC regulations, local electrical codes, and safety procedures related to electrical work. Experience working on renovation projects or new construction sites within commercial or industrial environments. Ability to operate power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols related to electrical work.
