Electrical Maintenance Technician
Must follow specific directions.
Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
Work within standards of accuracy.
Experienced in installing conduit and pulling wire.
Must also possess a valid driver's license and meet the Interstates' vehicle safety policy requirements. The employee isfrequentlyrequired to climb andmaintainbalance on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools.
Reach for, handle and grasp wires and hand tools, bend, crouch, stoop kneel, and work in small places, and lift and carry objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception; recognize slight differences in shapes or shading, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often exposed to high, precarious places, risk of electrical shockand outside weather conditions.

SUMMARY:
The Service Foreman installs and repairs electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment while also helping lead & develop service apprentices.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership- Capable of leading and motivating the team to achieve desirable project results and other goals Displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude Takes initiative to learn systems and processes Positively embraces change Supports the company values Strong team builder Proactively solves problems Proactively works towards client satisfaction and develops solutions for client issues Electrical and Construction Knowledge•Has an overall technical knowledge Has a strong knowledge of NEC and local Codes Planning and Layout•Overall responsibility for understanding and executing the scope of work Planning•Outlines the details of the plan (Who/What/When/Where/Why/How?
- Knows how to build a Short Interval Schedule (SIS) with appropriate goals Scope of Work
- Reads and understands scope Safety
- Has the overall responsibility and dedication to keep the project and crews safe Ensures safety expectations are achieved
- Can complete an I-Coaching report with feedback/Service Observation Safety Leadership
- Maintains good housekeeping on site Communication
- Builds Productive relationships with site management and co-workers. Assists site management in building relationships with client(s) and on-site trades Project Execution, Cost, Schedule and Productivity
- Ensures all resources are being effectively utilized to execute the project successfully Project Schedule Able to read and provide updated information for project schedule Daily Huddles Sets realistic daily goals with the crew Cost Control
- Tracks time and quantities correctly Quality Installation
- Sets up front expectations
- zero punch list Controls non-productive time Tool Management
- Looks ahead for needed tools and equipment for crew and makes arrangements to have available Coaching/Mentoring
- Continually works with people to achieve their full potential and views this process as an essential part of the job Constructive Employee Performance Feedback Participates in evaluating crew members when called upon Recognizes training opportunities with those below him/her Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Compensation:
Compensation for this position will vary based on experience, requiring 8000 recordable electrical hours or a state-issued journeyman electrician's license (or similar). Pay range for the Service Foreman/Technician is $39.85- 53.
