Job Description

Job Overview As our Estimator, you'll learn to turn what our mitigation crews document on-site into detailed, defensible Xactimate estimates. You'll work closely with our Mitigation Manager to scope jobs, track project details, and prepare estimates that hold up when insurance adjusters review them. Within your first year, you'll be writing estimates independently and building the technical foundation for a long-term career in restoration estimating. Duties Visit job sites with or after mitigation crews to document the scope of damage Learn and apply Xactimate to build detailed, accurate mitigation and repair estimates Review site documentation and CompanyCam photos to catch missing or unclear scope Track multiple open estimates through to completion, on schedule Communicate with insurance adjusters, customers, and the mitigation team to keep jobs moving Keep estimate files organized and audit-ready Work closely with, and report to, Frontier's Mitigation Manager on job scoping decisions Experience (Required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with numbers Comfortable learning new software and technical tools Clear written and verbal communication Able to work on active job sites — crawl spaces, attics, and fire/water/mold-affected properties Based in or able to reliably work in Fairbanks, AK Experience (Not Required) Experience in construction, insurance claims, or property restoration Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software IICRC certifications, or willingness to pursue them Customer service background
Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
