Estimator and Project Manager

Estimator / Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction We are seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to lead project delivery from pre-construction through closeout . You'll work closely with clients, engineers, and internal teams to ensure bids are competitive and execution is seamless. Estimator/Project Manager:

Start the day reviewing bid opportunities or current project status updates Attend pre-bid walkthroughs or project site visits as needed Perform quantity takeoffs and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotes Lead client calls or internal progress meetings Manage submittals, RFIs, and coordination with project engineers Monitor budget and prepare forecast updates Wrap up by updating bid files or project reports

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) Minimum 4 years of experience in heavy civil construction project management and/or estimating Experience delivering paving and infrastructure projects Proficiency in estimating and project management software (e.g., Procore, HCSS, Primavera, MS Project) Strong understanding of construction means/methods, sequencing, and cost control Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
