Full Job Description Senior Estimator Commercial Construction Location:

Greater Little Rock, Arkansas Compensation:

$105,00-$120,000 base salary + annual deferred compensation bonus (equivalent to 2 weeks' pay) Position Summary The Senior Estimator will support preconstruction efforts by preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for commercial construction projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, disciplined cost analysis, and the ability to synthesize information from drawings, specifications, and subcontractor input to develop competitive proposals. Primary Responsibilities Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and scope documents Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bids and proposals Develop complete estimate packages and present cost recommendations to leadership Maintain and update estimating databases, cost histories, and production rates Coordinate with preconstruction, project management, and executive teams to support bid strategy and project award Ensure accuracy, risk assessment, and compliance with project requirements and company standards Qualifications Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Minimum 7 years of commercial construction estimating experience (general contractor experience strongly preferred) Proficiency with construction documents, assemblies, and building systems Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities Experience with OST, Bluebeam, or comparable estimating and takeoff software Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple estimates simultaneously Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration Client-presentation experience not required; this role is primarily technical and internal-facing Key Attributes for Success High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to evaluate risks and cost drivers Commitment to integrity and professional standards What We Offer Competitive base salary: $105,000-$120,000 Annual deferred compensation bonus (approx. 2 weeks' pay) Established general contractor with long-standing market presence Collaborative, stable, and growth-oriented environment Opportunity to support impactful commercial projects across Arkansas How to Apply Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume for confidential consideration.
