Description Summary:
The Power Solutions Group (PSG) Solution Specialist will utilize significant industry knowledge and expertise to manage and exercise independent judgment and decision making with respect to the following core business functions for the Central Industrial Division PCs
- determining partner solutions based on power distribution applications, using configuration software, requesting quotes from manufacturers, creating proposals, submitting proposals, coordinating order and delivery of project materials, and driving growth in the Power business.
The most important aspect of our jobs is to support the integrity and implementation of the CED business model across the Central Industrial Division.

Bachelor's degree in business, science, or engineering Relevant work experience in the power equipment industry Previous project quotations experience Previous electrical equipment configuration experience

Develop an understanding of the position of the Power Solutions capabilities of the Central Industrial Division (CID) Personnel Analysis
- evaluation of talent across Division PC Capability Analysis
- evaluation of deliverable services by each PC, Inventory Market Analysis
- competitive landscape, partner eco-system development Meet with End Users and Contractors to review facility electrical infrastructure and determine critical upgrades needed.
Assist with initial design, budgeting, and project facilitation. Review plans, specifications, and drawings for projects to be quoted. Create equipment list and configure if needed. Review proposals to ensure configured correctly. Execute RFIs when needed/applicable. Notify PCs of potential problems, gaps, deficiencies in package. Work with PC and Contractor/End User on value engineered options/opportunities. Ensure that our quoted solutions do not limit the market access of Rockwell Automation solutions. Manage bid templates with configured Bill of Materials (BOMs). Understand and be able to use the software and estimating tools needed to process RFQ, Quotes, Submittals etc. Load project bids as opportunities into CED-Insight CRM software. Facilitate execution team for each project won and hand over project to selected Project Manager. Be involved with kick off meeting with all execution partners. Setup of Job Information in Box, as well as the CEDNet Job Management Tool. Create submittals as needed
