We specialize on commerical, Industrial EV sites and some residential. We are looking for a detail-oriented, driven, Electrical Estimator to help us scale. You will be responsible for accurately assessing electrical project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project execution. Your expertise will help drive profitable bids and foster strong client relationships. Duties Review project plans, specifications, and technical documents to develop comprehensive electrical estimates using industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam and Excel. Perform quantity takeoffs for electrical materials and labor costs, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Apply knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) to ensure all estimates meet safety and compliance standards. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams through negotiation to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms. Develop detailed cost proposals that include material costs, labor hours, equipment needs, and overheads. Submit bids within scheduled due date. Support project management teams by providing accurate estimates that facilitate planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on electrical projects within the construction industry. Extensive electrical experience combined with construction site exposure to understand on-the-ground realities. Knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and its application in estimating processes. Demonstrated ability in negotiation to secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Familiarity with construction management principles including cost control, contracts, and project management practices. Prior involvement in large-scale electrical is preferred.
