Restoration Environmental Estimators SIMPLIFYhr Anaheim, CA Job Details Full-time $85,000 - $95,000 a year 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Customer communication Restoration industry experience Estimating software for insurance claims Construction industry experience Xactimate Estimating construction project budgets Cost estimate preparation Restoration project estimation Repair estimation Full Job Description Our client is looking for Estimators Environmental Estimators Estimators Position Overview As an Estimator, you will play a key role in evaluating property damage and preparing accurate, detailed estimates for restoration and reconstruction projects. You will collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams to ensure scopes of work are clearly defined, competitively priced, and aligned with project requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed on-site inspections to assess damage from fire, water, mold, and other restoration-related incidents. Develop accurate and comprehensive estimates using industry-standard software (e.g., Xactimate). Prepare and submit detailed estimate reports outlining scope of work, timelines, and costs. Communicate with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope and expectations. Review, revise, and update estimates as needed based on project developments or additional findings. Maintain thorough documentation, including photos, measurements, and supporting data for claims and project records. Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, insurance requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Support project teams by clarifying scope and assisting with job planning as needed. Stay current on pricing trends, industry standards, and best practices in restoration and construction estimating. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating within restoration, construction, or a related industry. Proficiency in Xactimate (or similar estimating software) required. Strong knowledge of restoration and/or construction processes and insurance claim procedures. Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. clean driving record. Regional travel may be required. Relevant certifications (e.g., IICRC, OSHA) are a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements Environment:
Combination of field and office work, including site inspections and client locations.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform site inspections, including walking, bending, and lifting up to 25-50 lbs as needed. Use of PPE may be required.
