Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support a company focused on delivering complex commercial, industrial, public works, and medium-voltage electrical construction projects. This position is on-site in Brea, CA . The Electrical Estimator will prepare accurate cost estimates, develop competitive bids, and support project pursuit strategies to secure profitable electrical construction projects. Join a highly experienced team with exceptional employee retention and play a critical role in building high-quality electrical infrastructure from concept to completion. Responsibilities for the Electrical Estimator include: Prepare detailed labor, material, and equipment cost estimates for commercial, industrial, public works, and medium-voltage electrical construction projects. Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, RFPs, and project documents to develop accurate take-offs and bills of material. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and procurement teams to obtain competitive pricing and specialty equipment quotes. Develop bid proposals, support prequalification requirements, and participate in job walks and pre-bid meetings. Maintain estimating databases, bid registers, and provide value engineering recommendations to improve project competitiveness. Required Qualifications for the Electrical Estimator include: 3+ years of experience in electrical project estimating within commercial, industrial, public works, or medium-voltage construction environments. Proficiency with electrical estimating software such as Accubid or ConEst . Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered. No clearance required. Compensation for the Electrical Estimator include:
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
