Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator for a direct hire opportunity in Chatsworth, CA. This role is ideal for a skilled estimating professional with a strong background in complex commercial, industrial, healthcare, institutional, and data center electrical construction projects. The Senior Electrical Estimator will play a key role in supporting profitable growth by preparing accurate, competitive estimates and partnering closely with preconstruction, operations, project management, field leadership, suppliers, subcontractors, and executive teams. - Review plans, specifications, bid documents, contract requirements, and project scope to prepare accurate electrical construction estimates.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low-voltage systems, building controls, and site electrical work.
- Develop comprehensive labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and vendor pricing for conceptual, budgetary, negotiated, and hard-bid estimates.
- Solicit, review, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations while identifying scope gaps, risks, constructability concerns, and value engineering opportunities.
- Participate in bid strategy meetings, executive estimate reviews, preconstruction coordination, and project turnover meetings after award.
- Build strong relationships with clients, general contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, field leaders, and internal teams. Compensation and Benefits
