Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in aerospace and composites. As the Composites Estimator, you will review customer quotes and work closely with manufacturing, planning and engineering to develop complete accurate estimates for our composites and non-metallic capabilities. Duties Review customer RFQ requirements-validate company's production capabilities Determine make or buy decisions and verify producibility issues Determine reliable lead times for all estimates in line with production workload Estimate all production costs in line with engineering specifications Estimates NRE requirements (raw material, labor, tooling etc.) Formulate bid estimates in standard format and meet RFQ due dates Perform risk analysis and confirm ability to meet all customer requirements Meet regularly with Sales to review outstanding RFQ's-status. Participate in weekly production meetings Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen Ability to interpret customer supplied specifications and drawings Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on product mix and due dates Attention to detail and requirements is critical 2+ years of estimating experience. Experience with Aerospace, composites and non-metallic industries preferred but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) High School Diploma or equivalent
