Since 1989, Airplus has been a trusted HVAC partner in the Southern California homebuilding market, specializing in residential new construction. As we expand into the multifamily market, we are looking for an experienced HVAC estimator to bring proven multifamily apartment estimating expertise to our team. This position is responsible for evaluating multifamily HVAC projects, developing accurate and competitive estimates, and supporting awarded projects through the transition from estimating into execution and construction. Key Responsibilities Review plans, specifications and bid documents to determine complete HVAC scope and project requirements. Perform detailed HVAC takeoffs and develop labor, material and equipment costs for multifamily apartment projects. Evaluate supplier quotes, value-engineering opportunities, project conditions and potential cost risks. Prepare competitive bids and proposals, including scope clarifications, exclusions and qualifications. Coordinate with general contractors, developers, engineers, vendors and internal teams throughout the estimating process. Maintain accurate estimating records and use historical and completed-project cost data to improve future estimates. Support the transition of awarded projects from estimating into execution and construction, clearly communicating scope, assumptions, costs and potential risks. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of direct experience independently estimating HVAC systems for multifamily apartment construction required. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, ductwork, piping, labor and material requirements. Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical plans, specifications and construction documents. Experience working with general contractors, developers, engineers and vendors in the multifamily construction market. Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and construction estimating/takeoff software.

$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
