Duties:

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential challenges or opportunities.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to create detailed cost breakdowns and proposals.
• Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients within specified deadlines.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction process, providing updates as needed.
• Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality or functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift).
• Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
