We are seeking a Junior Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong estimating skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Most communication is conducted via email , so strong written communication is essential. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing blueprints, managing bid proposals, and supporting project success from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Review blueprints, plans, and bid documents to prepare accurate construction cost estimates Estimate labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and project timelines Use QuickBooks for job costing, budgeting, and estimate tracking Interpret construction drawings and specifications for commercial and industrial maintenance projects Request and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Prepare detailed bid proposals and scope breakdowns Conduct occasional site visits to assess project requirements Collaborate with project managers and field teams to refine project scope Adjust estimates based on scope changes and revisions Maintain organized records of bids, proposals, and project data Communicate with clients, vendors, and property managers primarily via email Provide excellent customer service and build strong long-term client relationships Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Construction Estimator (commercial or industrial experience preferred) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Proficiency in QuickBooks (required) Strong written communication skills and proficiency in email communication (required) Excellent customer service skills and ability to build client relationships Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail Experience working with subcontractors and suppliers Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience in property management maintenance work is a plus Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar estimating tools is a plus Compensation & Benefits Salary +
