Estimator Flooring, Countertops & Tile

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in-office at our Moorpark location. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for flooring, countertop, and wall tile projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Review plans, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates Perform quantity takeoffs for flooring, countertops, and tile installations Utilize estimating software (RFMS/Measure or comparable systems) Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and material availability Collaborate with project managers, sales team, and clients to ensure accurate scope and pricing Analyze project risks and opportunities to ensure competitive and profitable bids Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of estimating experience in flooring, countertops, tile, or related trades Proficiency with RFMS/Measure or similar estimating software (required) Strong understanding of construction plans, blueprints, and specifications Experience with takeoff tools and digital plan reading Familiarity with AI tools/software (preferred) for estimating efficiency and workflow optimization Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications Preferred Qualifications Experience working with multi-family, residential, or commercial projects Knowledge of material types, installation methods, and industry standards Experience coordinating with subcontractors and vendors

Pay:

$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
