In this pivotal role, you will lead the estimation process for commercial painting projects, accurately assessing costs, materials, and labor requirements from technical drawings and blueprints. You will also oversee project execution from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction estimating, project management, and contract negotiation will drive our success and client satisfaction. Duties Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to accurately estimate material needs, labor costs, and project timelines using tools like Bluebeam and HeavyBid. Develop detailed project budgets, pricing strategies, and cost control measures to ensure profitability while maintaining competitive bids. Manage the entire estimating process for commercial painting projects, including quantity take-offs and contractor negotiations. Lead project planning meetings, coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to align project scope and expectations. Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, schedule milestones, and quality benchmarks. Monitor project budgets continuously; implement cost management strategies. Review construction contracts and manage contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle to mitigate risks and ensure compliance. Skills Proficiency in reviewing drawings and creating accurate estimates. Strong negotiation skills for subcontractor bidding, contract agreements, and client discussions. Experience with estimating software for comprehensive project cost analysis. Demonstrated ability managing projects as a construction estimator with a focus on commercial painting or related trades. Expertise in interpreting technical drawings and construction documents for precise material estimation. Knowledge of construction site operations, safety protocols, and on-site management practices. Skilled in cost management techniques including cost control, budgeting, pricing strategies, and estimating material requirements from blueprints. Strong understanding of construction contracts, project management principles, and construction estimating best practices.
