Estimator/Project Manager

Golden Bay Fence plus Iron Works, Inc. in Stockton, CA is currently seeking a detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager for our Southern California operations. The ideal candidate should be experienced in cost estimation, project management and have a thorough understanding of the commercial fencing industry processes and materials. The goal of the Estimator/Project Manager is to accurately predict project costs and successfully manage projects from conception to completion. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities include:

Analyzing project requirements, identifying cost efficient solutions, and managing project resources Communicating/Coordinating with office staff, field personnel, customers, owners, vendors, and subcontractors Overseeing project scheduling, materials ordering from bidding through project completion Oversee contract administration and quality assurance Monitor project progress and provide monthly progress billing figures Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards and regulations Manage project resources efficiently and ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up to date Manage project from start to finish, ensuring that it stays within projected budget and timeline

Requirements:

Proven track record as an Estimator/Project Manager within the industry Proficiency in reading and comprehending blueprints and technical documents Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in office and project management software Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills a must

Full-time office setting with frequent visits to construction sites. Some travel may be required for site inspections, job walks or client meetings.

President, Vice President and Corporate Secretary Salary:

Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Weekly pay period.

Pay Range:

$85,000 to $100,000 per year
