Full-Time Position Overview HPL is seeking an experienced Contract Furniture Quoting Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for developing accurate project estimates, coordinating vendor pricing, and preparing competitive proposals for commercial furniture projects. The ideal candidate has experience in the contract furniture industry, enjoys working with details, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple project deadlines. Key Responsibilities Prepare timely and accurate quotations by reviewing architectural drawings, furniture plans, and project specifications. Request, evaluate, and manage pricing from furniture manufacturers and vendor partners. Develop customer proposals, pricing summaries, bid packages, and cost breakdowns. Coordinate with sales, design, purchasing, and production teams to ensure complete and accurate project pricing. Track product revisions, specification changes, lead times, and pricing updates throughout the quoting process. Maintain pricing databases, product information, and vendor resources. Assist in identifying cost-effective solutions while meeting project requirements and client expectations. Manage multiple bids simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in contract furniture quoting, estimating, dealership operations, or a related commercial interiors role. Strong understanding of commercial furniture manufacturers, specifications, and quoting processes. Experience reading architectural drawings and furniture plans. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience with CET Designer, ProjectMatrix, CAP, Khameleon, Hedberg, or similar contract furniture software is highly preferred. Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and perform well under tight deadlines.
