In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with clients and contractors to ensure competitive pricing and effective project execution. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality construction projects on time and within budget, fueling our growth and reputation for excellence in the industry. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive construction cost estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and bid documents using industry-standard software tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to understand project scope, design intent, and client requirements. Conduct detailed quantity take-offs to determine material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs accurately. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Prepare bid proposals that clearly outline scope of work, cost breakdowns, and project timelines. Monitor project budgets during execution to ensure cost control and identify potential overruns early. Review contracts, change orders, and scope modifications to adjust estimates accordingly and support effective project management. Requirements 2 + years experience in customer service and estimating Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction management principles. Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools. Solid knowledge of construction site operations, materials pricing, labor productivity rates, and cost control strategies. Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors. Ability to interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, and technical specifications accurately. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Familiarity with contracts, bidding processes, and legal considerations in construction projects. Prior experience working on construction sites is highly desirable for contextual understanding of field conditions.
