This position plays a key role during preconstruction by preparing accurate estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and helping secure new work. Key Responsibilities Prepare complete drywall and metal stud framing estimates for commercial and multifamily projects Perform quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications Solicit and evaluate vendor and supplier pricing Review bid documents, identify scope gaps, exclusions, and risk items Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and value engineering recommendations Coordinate with operations and project management during project turnover Participate in preconstruction meetings and scope reviews Maintain organized estimating files and project documentation Requirements 3+ years of estimating experience within drywall, metal stud framing, or commercial interior systems Strong understanding of commercial construction documents and specifications Experience performing quantity takeoffs and assembling complete bid packages Knowledge of labor production, material pricing, and subcontractor scope review Proficiency with Bluebeam and estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, PlanSwift, or similar platforms Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid holidays and PTO
