Full Job Description Job Description:

Concrete Estimator•Steel Reinforcement, Sidewalks, Curb/ CG, Retaining Walls, SOG Drywall Estimator•Light Gauge Metal Framing, Drywall, Rough Carpentry, ACT This position is responsible for estimating, handing off, and explanation to other team members of contractor projects with the goal of attaining successful projects for company. Blueprint ( Engineered Plan Set) reading and comprehension experience a requirement. Familiarity with take off software such as Planswift, Bluebeam, QuickBid Key Responsibilities Leading/ working with Management on determining what types of projects to bid, strategies, techniques, to ensure competitive pricing. Review all final estimate packages with Project Manager prior to final submission to ensure accuracy and completeness. Negotiate contracts and change orders, as required, to make certain company standards are met. • Providing direct support to our sales and field management staff with project quotes, pricing, and bids • Providing labor breakdowns and complete take offs Assist in the preparation of submittals, materials and methods, recommendations, and cost estimates to develop proper strategic direction. Develop "hand off profile" to lead field team towards proper completion of future successful projects Comfortable with working in office for majority of working hours independently at computer and using specific software for completing work assigned Education and Experience High School Diploma required, Higher level education recommended but not required Familiar with the trade of commercial concrete or drywall construction; Residential estimators still encouraged to apply Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required, Experience in estimating is required for experienced estimator with knowledge base in takeoff software such as Onscreen Quick Bid and PlanSwift Ability to interact with with contractors, other employees, supervisors, and other individuals on projects to meet objective Excellent organizational, problem solving skills essential. Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information Fluency in English is required; Fluency in Spanish recommended but not required Ability to work in team and present in front of others in high pressure situation is required Ability to handle high stress situations Company Culture M4 Concrete and Drywall, Inc. is a small based business and as such is looking for a candidate who can help fill in voids.
