Job Description

- 5+ years in Commercial Construction Estimating
- BS degree in Construction Management or relevant field preferred
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office
- Experience with construction estimating software
- Familiarity with Public Works and DSA projects
- Ability to prioritize task and complete work efficiently, independently, and collaboratively
- Experience collaborating with Owners, A/E, and Subcontractors Responsibilities
- Management of public and private preconstruction contracts
- Interface with owners, architects, engineers, city and other governmental agencies and consultants on developing construction projects
- Review plans and specifications for constructability, planning and scheduling
- Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to check bids for completeness and compliance with the construction plans and specifications
- Organize and execute project game plan and revise appropriately to meet changing needs and requirements with Project Executive
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity take offs and procure necessary third party pricing
- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to clients
- Collaborate in buyout and contract administration
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
- Identify potential risk exposure on project drawings and contracts
