Commercial Roofing Salesperson

Job Summary As a Commercial Roofing Salesperson/Estimator, you are responsible for driving the sales revenue for Academy Roofing to meet year-over-year profit goals. As part of the team, you will be accountable for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with contractors and building owners. This position requires a motivated, self-disciplined individual to work as part of a high-performing sales team. As a member of the team, you will generate detailed cost-analysis and scope-of-work estimates using historical data, vendor quotes, and site inspections. You will work closely with the Academy Roofing Production team to determine the most efficient and cost-effective ways to win and complete projects. The ability to develop and retain relationships with the clients, project managers, engineers, and architects is important to your success in this role. Duties Generate detailed cost estimates of commercial roofing projects; Visit work sites and work with the Academy Roofing Production team to determine material and labor costs to profitably complete the projects; Create cost comparisons using historical data of comparable projects; Solicit project opportunities from contractors and building owners; Monitor progress of ongoing projects; Address client objections to increase probability of winning business;

Key Performance Measurements:

Total revenue generated versus sales goals; Quote to close ratio; Average profit margin; Number of estimate opportunities generated; Addition of new customers;

Qualifications:

College degree preferred; At least five years experience in commercial roofing estimating a must; Roofing estimating background a must; Above average competency in use of up-to-date technology; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; A pre-established book of business with Colorado customers is preferred; Position is fully in office; Base annual salary range is $85,000 to $95,000, including eligibility for bonuses. $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
