HVAC & Plumbing EstimatorLocation:
Denver, CO (Onsite)
Salary:
$95,000-140,000+ (Experience Dependent)About the OpportunityWe are partnering with a leading mechanical contractor seeking an experienced HVAC & Plumbing Estimator to join its growing team in Denver, CO. This organization specializes in complex commercial and industrial construction projects and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical, plumbing, piping, and design-build solutions.

Position OverviewThe HVAC & Plumbing Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects. This role will work closely with operations, project management, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful project pursuits and preconstruction efforts.

ResponsibilitiesReview plans, specifications, and bid documents.

Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.

Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.

Prepare competitive bids, budgets, and proposals.

Assist with value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.

Participate in scope reviews, bid meetings, and project handoff meetings.

Coordinate with project management and operations teams throughout the preconstruction process.

Maintain estimating records and historical cost data.

Preferred Qualifications3+ years of estimating experience within HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or MEP construction.

Experience preparing takeoffs and detailed cost estimates.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related mechanical systems.

Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
