Sales:
Organize, facilitate and communicate to all sales leads. This includes introductions and site visits to determine scope of work and project feasibility. Project Analysis:
Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documentation to determine project scope and quantify requirements. Scope Management:
Create detailed scopes of work delineating project objectives, tasks, and deliverables to ensure clarity and alignment among involved parties. Bid Package Preparation:
Prepare, obtain, and track bidding packages for subcontractors and vendors, including bid documents, requirements, and specifications. Detailed cost estimation:
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, to include materials, labor, equipment, and other associated costs. Vendor Evaluation:
Analyze bidding packages from subcontractors and vendors for pricing and quality standards, provide recommendations to BCH team and clients. Budget Development:
Collaborate with the BCH team to establish project budget objectives aligned with client expectations, offering expert advice and guidance. Cost Optimization:
Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and propose value engineering solutions to enhance project efficiency without compromising quality or safety. Client Communication:
Develop and deliver presentations to clients and partners, providing initial cost estimates and monthly budget updates. Financial Tracking:
Work with the Accounting Manager to help track receipts, invoices, and other financial information, ensuring proper coding for financial accountability throughout the construction process. Software:
Use our construction software, Buildertrend, to streamline the project management process and enhance overall efficiency. Process Improvement:
Identify and contribute to the implementation of strategies to enhance operational efficiency and optimize workflow. Qualification Requirements:
Three to five years of related experience, to include experience in custom home construction. Knowledge of construction management processes. Ability to read and understand construction plans/blueprints. Experience using estimating software, scheduling platforms, project management software, spreadsheets, blueprint take-off software. Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and monitor work; must possess strong internal motivation to complete tasks at the highest level with minimal supervision. Work effectively as part of a team as well as individually. Ability to attend site walks and visit project locations in Colorado. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred but not required. Employment Type:
Full-Time Compensation:
Base salary can range from $65,000 to $80,000, based on qualifications of the selected candidate. Performance bonus opportunities based on project contracts. Benefits:
