Property Insurance Specialist/Estimator

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced insurance billing specialist who is highly skilled in Xactimate and Insurance Claims. You will be responsible for generating Xactimates, speaking with insurance companies, communicating with Project Managers for accurate estimating, and generating invoices and work orders. You will use our CRM to provide updates. This position will be in the office in Golden.

Key Responsibilities:

Xactimate Proficiency:

Utilizing Xactimate software to create comprehensive damage estimates, including material and labor costs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Claims Documentation:

Creating clear and detailed reports, including photographs and diagrams, to support claim assessments and facilitate claim processing.

Insurance Communication:

Interacting with insurance companies on supplementing items and final invoicing.

CRM System Usage:

Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Jobnimbus, to maintain accurate and organized claim records, track customer and carrier communications, manage project timelines, document claim progress, and ensure all claim-related information is updated throughout the restoration and insurance process.

Collaborative Teamwork:

Assisting and stepping up to assist other members of Insurance Department, if needed.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on industry regulations, Colorado, City and County code requirements, and company guidelines to ensure compliance in all claim assessments and documentation.

Time Management:

Efficiently manage a high volume of claims while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality in your work.

Qualifications:

Prior Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance claims handling and estimating using Xactimate within the construction industry. Extensive knowledge of property claims, including damage assessment, scope development, supplement coordination, code compliance, and carrier communication.

Xactimate Expertise:

Proficiency in using Xactimate software to create accurate estimates is essential.

CRM System Experience:

Demonstrated experience with CRM systems for managing customer interactions and claims data.

Strong Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for effective customer interactions and report preparation.

Detail-oriented:

Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate damage assessments and documentation.

Adaptability:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
