$50,000 - $80,000 Annually depending on experience The Opportunity At Industrial Constructors/Managers (ICM), we don't just build structures—we build the backbone of industry. With more than 40 years of award‑winning industrial construction experience, we're seeking a detail‑driven Estimator to support our growing Pueblo operations. As our Estimator, you will play a critical role in ensuring ICM continues to deliver safe, precise, and cost‑effective solutions. You will analyze project documentation, prepare comprehensive cost estimates, collaborate across project teams, and help position ICM as the preferred contractor for industrial projects and clients statewide. Variety:
Work on diverse industrial projects that challenge your technical and analytical skills. What You'll Do Obtain pre‑qualifications from vendors and subs. Serve as the initial point of client contact to assess project scope and required resources. Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, reviewing specifications, drawings, takeoff information, and contractual requirements. Partner with construction teams to support pricing and estimating of change orders. Develop clear, compelling proposal packages and presentations that help ICM stand out as the contractor of choice. Review client project schedules for accuracy or create schedules to illustrate ICM's plan and sequencing. Transfer job costs from estimates into accounting systems. Initiate procurement of long‑lead materials when required. Conduct project handoff meetings with project managers, including long‑lead items, schedule overview, phase codes, constructability notes. Participate in project close‑out meetings to capture "lessons learned" and continuously improve estimating processes.
What You'll Bring Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
Experience:
2+ years of construction estimating experience (field experience preferred).
Technical Aptitude:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project, Computer‑aided takeoff tools, Primavera P6 scheduling, WinEst estimating software, Varco Pruden Command, Bluebeam.
Attributes:
Highly organized, detail oriented and analytical. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work both independently and with multi-disciplinary project teams. Comfortable visiting jobsites as required and managing multiple deadlines.
