Job Description

Job description: SERVPRO Team Skov is hiring a Job File Coordinator to run mitigation and construction files out of our Middletown CT home office. Steady work comes in from the #1 brand in restoration and our local relationships across six markets in New York, Connecticut, and Maryland. Every job file, estimate, and close-out flows through this seat. When the field is producing, you are the one making sure the work is documented, compliant, ready to bill, and that every adjuster and customer stays informed from first notice of loss to final audit. Water, fire, and mold losses with both residential volume and large commercial work. On a busy week you have dozens of active files on your board and you own the documentation, estimating support, billing readiness, and stakeholder communication on every one. This is primarily a home-office seat, with occasional travel to support large-loss projects across our markets. Your job is to keep files clean, accurate, and moving, and to be the point of contact who keeps everyone aligned. Nothing sits. Nothing falls through. No one is left wondering where a job stands. The standard here is documentation that holds up to any carrier or program review and communication that keeps production, accounting, adjusters, and customers on the same page. What you will earn A competitive base in the range below, plus the stability and growth of one of the largest SERVPRO organizations in the Northeast. This is a seat with a clear path up as we scale across markets. What we are looking for You do not need a restoration background to be considered. If you have run coordination, estimating, claims processing, or high-volume administrative operations in a demanding, deadline-driven environment, we will train you on the restoration side and pay for your certifications. Restoration, construction, or property insurance experience is a strong plus.
Required:
2 or more years in coordination, estimating, claims, billing, or administrative operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proven ability to manage many files or projects at once without dropping accuracy Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ownership of customer, adjuster, or partner communication, keeping every stakeholder informed and aligned Comfort working in digital systems for documentation, workflow, and reporting Willingness to travel occasionally to support large-loss projects across our markets Highly valued: Restoration, construction, or property insurance industry experience Estimating experience, ideally with Xactimate Familiarity with carrier and program compliance requirements Experience with restoration platforms (we run DASH) Bachelor's degree Why this seat is different This is the backbone of the operation, not a data-entry desk. The files you manage are what get our crews paid and keep our carrier and program relationships strong, and you are the voice that keeps adjusters and customers informed while the work is underway. You work directly with production, management, and accounting, and you see every job in the company move from first call to close. If you take pride in clean work, catch the things other people miss, keep a full board organized under pressure, and communicate so well that customers and adjusters want to work with us again, this is a seat where that shows up in the numbers every week. Compensation and benefits Compensation - $50,000 to $65,000, based on experience (paid hourly) 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off, holidays, and sick time Paid IICRC certification courses Employee referral bonuses Real growth opportunity within a multi-market organization This is an immediate opening.
