Vice President Overview This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Vice President in estimating and preconstruction efforts across multiple projects. The individual will also take on project management responsibilities on select projects to ensure continuity from pricing through execution. Key Responsibilities Estimating (Primary) Perform quantity take-offs Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up and renovation projects Develop budgets from conceptual through GMP stages Solicit, level, and analyze subcontractor bids; ensure full scope coverage Lead value engineering efforts to align design with project budgets Prepare proposals, bid packages, and support procurement strategy Collaborate with architects and engineers on constructability and cost alignment Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating systems Participate in business development meetings and represent VASE in pursuing new opportunities Project Management (Secondary) Manage select projects from preconstruction through closeout using Procore Oversee schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders (PCOs), and requisitions Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders Monitor financial performance and proactively address risks Support closeout processes to ensure timely completion Support compliance efforts, including certified payroll and CHRO requirements, when applicable Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and timely project closeout Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) 6+ years of experience in estimating (required) and project management (preferred) Strong proficiency in estimating software, with the ability to perform accurate manual take-offs and pricing Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing Experience with commercial, multifamily, municipal, or healthcare projects preferred Proficiency in Procore, Excel, Word, and project management tools Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites Experience with AIA billing and project documentation is a plusCompensation & Benefits Salary Range:
