Electrical Estimator -
Relocation ProvidedLocation:
Waterbury, CTSalary:
$120K-$160K base (salary depends on experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are adequately estimated and accounted for. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimation for various sectors including commercial, industrial, and healthcare, and will work closely with project managers and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects based on project plans and specifications.

Conduct bid take-offs and analyze project documents to identify necessary materials and labor.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and scope.

Utilize estimation software such as Accubid and Bluebeam to create accurate estimates.

Review and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Provide support during the bidding process and assist in the preparation of bid submissions.

Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.

Evaluate and implement cost-saving measures when possible.

QualificationsProven experience as an Electrical Estimator with a strong understanding of electrical plans and specifications.

Knowledge of estimating software such as Accubid and Bluebeam.

Experience in various sectors, including mission critical commercial, industrial, and healthcare is preferred.

Familiarity with NEC codes and standards.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
