: Job Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, builders, and team members while managing project estimates primarily for residential construction foundations.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors, builders, and team members.

Analyze documents, blueprints, and project plans to obtain a thorough understanding of the project.

Determine production factors that will influence the costs of products and services.

Prepare material and cost estimates for products and services.

Manage bids from vendors and contractors.

Prepare detailed cost analyses using bid data.

Present prepared estimates to management and stakeholders.

Adjust estimates based on project changes and updates.

Submit final bids to stakeholders.

Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma, trade school, or equivalent education required.

3-5 years of construction experience required.

Proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, or blueprint reading required.

Good computer knowledge.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.

Bi-lingual language skills are a plus.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to take ownership of duties with good follow-through and perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Effective communication skills with external customers, subcontractors, and internal management and coworkers.

Ability to balance workload and prioritize in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.

Capability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.

Willingness to learn new technology and processes.

Ability to understand and follow complex processes.
