Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an Experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive electrical cost estimates, analyzing blueprints and technical drawings, and collaborating closely with clients, project managers, and suppliers. Your expertise will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Duties Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to accurately estimate electrical material requirements and labor costs. Utilize estimating software, Microsoft Office and other construction management tools to develop detailed project estimates. Analyze project scope, bid documents, and contract details. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine electrical system requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Adjusting estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle. Review construction drawings for accuracy, identify potential issues early on. Assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously by prioritizing tasks effectively and maintaining clear communication channels. Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in managing projects as an Electrical Estimator. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and estimating material requirements from blueprints. Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, suppliers, and team members. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel spreadsheets for detailed cost analysis and reporting.
Pay:
$27.00 - $32.00 per hour
