Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator specializing in drywall construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial or multi-family drywall estimating, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You'll play a key role in the preconstruction process, contributing directly to the success of our projects and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for drywall, metal stud framing, insulation, and related scopes. Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive take-offs and budgets. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients during the preconstruction phase. Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier pricing; build and maintain strong vendor relationships. Participate in bid reviews and value engineering discussions. Track historical cost data and maintain databases to inform future estimates. Ensure estimates align with project goals, timelines, and margins. Support transition from preconstruction to operations with clear and complete handoffs.

Qualifications:

Minimum [2-4] years of experience in drywall or specialty construction estimating. Strong knowledge of drywall systems, assemblies, materials, and installation practices. Fluent in English and Spanish Proficiency with estimating software such as Procore, Microsoft Office, On Screen, and Adobe. Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
