Job Description
Estimator - Commercial Landscape, Snow & Facility Services US Snow Pros / US Property Pros is a national exterior facility services provider specializing in commercial snow and ice management, landscape maintenance, and property services throughout the United States. We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to support our growing portfolio of commercial properties. The Estimator will review client requests, measure properties, develop scopes of work, obtain and evaluate vendor pricing, and prepare accurate, competitive proposals for commercial services. What You'll Do Review client requests, specifications, photographs, site information, and other documentation to determine project requirements. Measure commercial properties using aerial imagery, satellite mapping, online measuring platforms, site plans, and other estimating tools to calculate square footage, linear footage, acreage, and other quantities. Develop scopes and estimates for commercial landscape, snow and ice management, asphalt and concrete repairs, parking lot maintenance, line striping, and other facility/property services. Obtain and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and service partners. Review vendor proposals to ensure pricing and scopes are complete and meet project requirements. Prepare client proposals using established pricing and margin requirements. Compare vendor costs, historical pricing, property measurements, and project requirements to identify inconsistencies or potential estimating errors. Maintain organized records of estimates, measurements, vendor quotes, and supporting documentation. What We're Looking For Estimating experience in commercial landscaping, snow and ice management, construction, paving, exterior facility services, property maintenance, or a related field required Experience using aerial imagery, mapping software, or digital measurement/takeoff tools. Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, site plans, property maps, specifications, and photographs. Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to calculate quantities and project costs accurately. Ability to evaluate vendor pricing and identify missing, conflicting, or unreasonable scope and cost information. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business software.
