Mead Construction, Inc. is growing and looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team in Melbourne, FL. We're a trusted general contractor known for quality, reliability, and teamwork - and we're looking for someone who shares those values.

What You'll Do:

Prepare precise, detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects Review plans, specs, and bid documents to define project scope Write and assemble clear, professional proposals and bid submissions Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Perform quantity takeoffs and develop cost breakdowns for labor and materials Collaborate closely with project managers and field teams to plan and execute winning bids

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of experience in construction estimating Strong understanding of materials, methods, and job sequencing Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel Excellent organization, communication, and proposal-writing skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines effectively
