Job Description Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for all project phases, including materials, labor, and equipment. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and requirements. Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to clarify project needs and refine estimates. Research and source pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure competitive bids. Review and evaluate subcontractor bids for accuracy and alignment with project goals. Update and adjust cost projections based on project changes or unforeseen conditions. Maintain thorough documentation of estimates, bids, and project costs for reporting and compliance. Contribute to value engineering by identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. The Successful Applicant Extensive experience estimating and managing costs for commercial ground-up construction projects, including retail, warehouses, shopping centers, and dealerships. Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and industry best practices. Excellent analytical skills for preparing accurate bids, budgets, and cost projections. Skilled in coordinating with clients, architects, and subcontractors to align estimates with project requirements. Proficient in using estimating software and tools to develop detailed and competitive proposals. Track record of delivering accurate cost estimates that support successful project execution within budget and time line constraints. Solid knowledge of contract compliance and scope definition for subcontractor agreements. What's on Offer A competitive salary range of around $120,000 to $160,000 yearly, depending on experience.
