We are actively seeking a motivated and professional Restoration Estimator to join a well-established and rapidly growing restoration company. This company has built a strong reputation for excellence in residential and commercial restoration, serving clients throughout the area. This position is ideal for a driven and detail-oriented Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in professionalism, quality, and client satisfaction. You'll step in to handle estimating on the mitigation and reconstruction side for both residential and commercial projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed and accurate estimates using Xactimate and Symbility following mitigation and contents restoration.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and documentation from estimate to closeout.
  • Collaborate closely with mitigation teams and clients to ensure smooth transitions into reconstruction.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, business owners, and insurance representatives.
  • Maintain a high standard of client service and professionalism.
  • Participate in company culture and team initiatives, including quarterly meetings and community service events.
Requirements:
  • 1-3+ years of experience in restoration estimating or project management (minimum of 1 year required).
  • Strong knowledge of Xactimate and Symbility software.
  • IICRC certification is preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple estimates/projects simultaneously.
  • Must be proactive, dependable, and capable of working independently without micromanagement.
  • Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and excellent communication skills — "people person" mindset.
  • Must maintain professional conduct when working with clients; this company sets a high bar for professionalism.
  • Background in both residential and commercial reconstruction (projects $100K+ preferred).
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary + commission + bonus potential (all current estimators earn over six figures)
